Media Literacy, Spring 2016
In their Media Literacy and Contemporary Art in the Classroom class, students are asked to engage in deep thinking around what it means to be media literate and to strategize ways in which they might involve their own students into developing critical thinking skills in the contemporary, media saturated climate. Towards this, students develop blogs to record their research and thinking practice. These public interfaces function as an effective platform for sharing, learning and being actively engaged in contemporary, participatory culture.
